Brian Gosling - Portrait and Figure Artist

During his childhood, Brian took up a pencil and started doodling and drawing, fascinated by the tricks of light and shade. In his 20s, the pencil was replaced with a paintbrush, his art pad for a canvas and acrylic paints. Preferring to develop his own skills and techniques, Brian shunned art classes and eventually, in complete contrast, started teaching art at an Essex college and then in his Hertfordshire studio.

As an artist, Brian's interest has always been the human figure. These days, most of his work is commissioned from photos although he still exhibits at stately home shows and of course the Erotica Show in London with Jo and Gabby.
